Use additional tips and offers to organize your new student
life efficiently:

Campus Map: As a new student, it is important to find your way around, and the KIT Campus Map is a great help. It is a detailed map of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) that covers the entire campus area. The map provides information about the locations of buildings, facilities, lecture halls, libraries, cafeterias (mensa), labs, and other important points. It also often includes traffic routes, parking areas, and green spaces. The KIT Campus Map is available in both printed form and digitally, and it is regularly updated to take new construction projects and changes into account.

KIT Library: The central lending and service library of KIT is located on the South Campus. It offers media on all academic disciplines of KIT, as well as over 950 individual and group workstations, which are often used by students for studying. You can easily book places for individual work using the Anny reservation system. Another advantage of the library is its opening hours: 24/7, meaning it is open around the clock!

Student Life at KIT and in Karlsruhe: Student life at KIT and in Karlsruhe is lively and diverse. The city offers a high quality of life and a pleasant atmosphere. Many students use the well-developed network of cycle paths for their mobility. The Schlosspark (palace garden) located right next to KIT, invites you to relax, jog and unwind. Shops for everyday needs are within walking or cycling distance. The proximity to the Black Forest and the Palatinate Forest also offers great opportunities for trips into nature.

The city's open and friendly culture as well as numerous student initiatives and events at KIT promote a strong sense of community. Overall, student life at KIT offers a great balance between academic demands and leisure activities.
